Chris
Dornstauder 3rd Degree Black Belt
NCCP Level 3 Certified "Nothing in life is free, you have to work hard and make choices for the outcomes you want" Chris started his Judo career with Vibank Judo Club 32 years ago. In his 32 year Judo career, Chris has trained, coached, and competed all over Canada, in Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, and Japan.
Off the mats Chris spends his time with his family and enjoys just about anything to do with running, the outdoors and DIY projects. |
Tristin
Hoffarth 2nd Degree Black Belt
NCCP Level 1 Certified "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" Tristin started his Judo career with Vibank Judo Club 18 years ago. In his 18 year Judo career, Tristin has trained, coached, and competed across Canada. Tristin has also trained and competed in the United States, Scotland, and Japan.
When he’s not on the Judo mats, you can find Tristin on the golf course, walking his dog, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. |
Bishop
Sommerfeld 2nd Degree Black Belt
NCCP Level 2 Certified "In sports, attitude comes first, talent comes second" Bishop started her Judo career with the Regina Y Judo Club 19 years ago. In her 19 year Judo career, Bishop has been able to travel and compete all over Canada and the United States. Of the places Judo has taken her, Bishop’s favourite places have been the Yukon, New Brunswick, and Florida.
When not on the Judo mats, you can find Bishop with her cats, making puzzles, crafting, and gardening. |
Jordan
Alberton Brown Belt
NCCP Level 1 Certified "Doing your best is more important than being the best" Jordan started her Judo career with the Regina Y Judo Club 27 years ago. In her 27 year Judo career, Jordan has been able to travel and compete all over Canada, from BC to Quebec.
Jordan grew up in Regina and obtains a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Jordan is excited to be able to coach with the U of R Judo Club. “I love being able to share an important part of my childhood (judo) to a new generation” |
